Angel Jackson is an Army Public Affairs Officer in South Carolina. She has worked as a PR professional for three years in the military. She currently works as a Public Affairs Community and Media Relations Officer. She has also worked as a plans officer which gives her insight and experience working on Strategic Communication and communicating theater security cooperation events.
Prior to working as a Public Affairs Officer, Angel worked as a Human Resources Officer and Air Defense Officer. She also served as a combat photographer and graphics illustrator for the U.S. Army. Angel has experience working as a television new producer, video editor, and weekend assignment editor. She produced the noon news show at WTVM News Channel 9 in Columbus, Ga. She also edited video, and occasionally, produced the 5pm, 5:30pm, 6pm and 11pm newscasts.
While working in the Public Relations Department at Columbus State University, Angel produced magazine content and worked on layout and design for several of the university’s magazines. She also wrote news content for the university.
Angel recently completed her Masters Degree in Public Relations at Full Sail University, graduating with honors as valedictorian. She has an MS in Business from Colorado Technical University and a BA in Communication from Columbus State University. She also has an AA in Journalism from Middle Georgia State College and is a graduate of the Defense Information School Public Affairs Qualification Course.
Angel has a passion for writing, photography, and working with others. She looks forward to working with established and new companies to help with branding and a digital presence.
