Angel Jackson is an Army Public Affairs Officer. She has worked as a PR professional for over 20 years. As the Chief of Multimedia, she currently manages a team of designers, photographers, web editors, and video producers. Her responsibilities include manage day-to-day tasks, branding, and projects.
Prior to working as a Public Affairs Officer, Angel worked as a Human Resources Officer and Air Defense Officer. She also served as a combat photographer and graphics illustrator for the U.S. Army. Angel has experience working as a television new producer, video editor, and weekend assignment editor. She produced the noon news show at WTVM News Channel 9 in Columbus, Ga. Angel also edited video and produced the 5 pm, 5:30 pm, 6 pm and 11 pm newscasts.
While working in the Public Relations Department at Columbus State University, Angel was responsible for magazine layout and design. She also produced content for several of the university’s magazines and wrote news articles.
Angel has a Masters in Public Relations, MS in Business, and a BA in Communication. She also has an AA in Journalism and is a graduate of the Defense Information School Public Affairs Qualification Course.
